Please accept our apologies if you have received this twice - the Gremlins got
into the machine during our first attempt, and prevented it from reaching the
majority of our mailing list. So if you get two copies, that makes you special.
This mail includes the next two big Sproutlore Events, so please make sure you
scroll all the way to the end so you don't miss anything!
We hope to see you at one or both of these events.

RUSSEL THE RAILWAYMANS RAILWAY TOUR
We will be meeting at Sheffield Park railway station in the middle of darkest
Sussex to spend the afternoon with Russell Hubner – star of Apocolypso – who
will show us around the historic Bluebell Railway where he actually works. We
shall also journey on the train – with a special guest on the footplate, tooting
the tooter as one might say and Drink in the pub.
The meeting point is Sheffield Park station; there is ample car parking. We will
gather from about 12 at the Bessemer Arms pub which is open from 9am, This pub
is a real ale bar and has been known to have special one off brews, We will
officially start at about 12.30.
Sheffield Park Station is situated on the A275 East Grinstead - Lewes main road,
about two miles north of its junction with the A272. The Bluebell Railway,
Sheffield Park is well signposted with brown tourist direction signs from the
A22 and A23 trunk roads.
For maps further details and a bit of info see
Now, for those of you without cars, the nearest mainline railway station is
Haywards Heath on the London – Brighton line. Haywards Heath has services from
London Victoria, from Bedford thru Kings Cross Thameslink and London Bridge,
from Watford Junction, from Brighton, from Eastbourne, one of which begins at
Hastings, and from Southampton Central or Littlehampton thru Hove and Worthing.
People travelling from say for instance Derby can get an 8am train and still get
there, so check times. From Hayward’s Heath its about 4 mile to Sheffield park,
we will have a special – taxi share/ lift – section on the forum to help combine
journeys to and from, also Station cabs is 01444 410410. We finish at 5pm and
depart the Bessemer for Brighton.
COUNT DANTES BALL.
We will be having a special celebration of Count Danté at the Hare and hounds
pub at Preston Circus, 75 London Road, BN1 4JF. Starting upstairs at 8pm.
Floyd Web who is quite possibly the worlds foremost expert on Count Danté will
be joining us for the whole day. He is making a movie about the Count and wants
to feature Robert and the club – and how Dimac has transcended into cult
fiction. So you’ll be on film.
At the moment we are hoping to have a live band, a number of talks about Count
Dante, some martial demonstrations and the usual Sproutlore raffles and what
not, followed by just drinking into the night.
The Hare and hounds is about 700 yards from Brighton Station. Hopefully people
will get some food in between times. http://www.thehareandhounds.co.uk
The theme is martial arts – so get the gear out!
If you wish to purchase a ticket we have set up the facility online, at our
Send cheques made payable to JAMES BACON to 55 Cromwell Rd., Croydon, CR0 2JZ,
