TOPIC MOVED TO MORE RELEVANT SECTION
Hokus Bloke Productions, Ladbroke Productions & BBC Audiobooks in partnership with Forbidden Planet are pleased to announce a signing by Robert Rankin, David Warner and Rupert Degas. They will be signing the audio book version of Robert’s The Brightonomicon at the Forbidden Planet Megastore, 179 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, WC2H 8JR, on Wednesday 13th February 5pm-6.30pm.
Robert, David and Rupert will be signing at the Forbidden Planet London Megastore (plus other members of the cast & crew including the Director, Neil Gardner, and Danny Eastman who plays Danbury Collins). The largest store of its kind in the world, it continues the Forbidden Planet tradition of hosting appearances by the greatest names in science fiction and fantasy. Previous guests have Christopher Lee, Andy Serkis, Iain Banks, Douglas Adams, Anne McCaffrey, Clive Barker, Stephen King, William Gibson and H. R. Giger.
N.B. A copy of The Brightonomicon Audio Series must be one of the items you ask to be signed. Boxsets will be available to purchase on the day in-store (a day ahead of release!)
If you can't get there but want a boxset signed, worry not...you can order signed copies by calling Forbidden Planet Mail Order on 020 7803 1900.
Hope to see you all there!

HB why don't you list the signing on the UKSF newsite, puts it out to a wider audience that way.

Hmmmmm I'll have to think about this......
Robert Rankin and David Warner at a signing in London at a time and place that I can make, something that I really want to buy and maybe beers afterwards.
Oh why not then, see you all there.

Sadly, the hoped for, and mentioned in passing launch event in brighton on Feb 14th had to be postponed for a multitude of reasons out of my control. But stick with us coz me and the Robster are planning other opportunities for meeting n greeting n getting things signed as 2008 goes on!
Unfortunately the change in plans happened after James had put together the latest fantistic and enthralling Mercury, so please ignore the reference to Brighton based events that I mention at the end of one of far-too-long segments - for now the signing at FP on Weds 13th in london is THE event.

Luckily I'd booked the 13th-15th off work anyway, so that's alright then. _________________ A Random Me
