Anyone else disapointed with last nights episode. I really think they should try concentrating on having an actual plot and a bit more sci fi content instead of just scene after scene of Bi sexual shenanigans and double entendre.

I had always thought Torchwood was an offshoot in the Dr Who franchise but it seems to have turned into a CARRY ON or SIX GO DOWN IN SWANSEA.

What a waste of James Masters talent and my time. I hope the next episode is not just more of the same.

The excessive "next week" slot taking up the last five minutes of the episode was uncalled for.

Watched a few of the first season and thought it was utter pants. Saying that I thought the last series of Dr Who was a bit naff as well. And now we have the dulcet tones of Catherine Tate to look forward to. Great Rolling Eyes. Bring back Romana I say ( the dark haired version that is ) Wink

I really like it so ner ner ner ner ner ner! I think you have to take it for what it is , glossy fluff and don't try and make it more then that and then you can enjoy it to your hearts content.

Fabulous couple of one liners and an AWESOME Star Wars reference. I shall be watching this series as I did the last one with my fingers in my ears when my Dad tries to tell me how shit it is!

I enjoyed the first series but thought it suffered a bit from taking itself too seriously. If this episode is anything to go by they seem to have rectified that, and I really enjoyed it.

The Star Wars reference made me laugh out loud, and it was good to see that they didn't kill off Captain John - would be good to see him back at some point, they need a decent recurring baddie I think!

All top fun.

I found the first episode had a few too many "skip on the DVD" episodes.

Of course he'll be back.
Are all time agents such vacuous man-whores?

Well I read somewhere that he only filmed one episode, but I've just re-watched the 3 minute long (not 5, but still too long!) "Coming Up" thing at the end, and he's in that, along with Jim Robinson from Neighbours.....!

Probably. Hey, does this mean Niven is really a time agent? Shocked

I enjoyed it too. I have simple tastes, a fish driving a car at the beginning got my attention. Laughing
