Certainly I know it exists.

I can declare an interest since the organiser of the event in Derby is my son Andi. However he has been a bit slow in offering me a taste. I think I will have to turn up next time the Flying Swan lands in Derby.

Just watching the snooker live on the computer with Dott winning 13:7

Not this year the way things have been going.

Unless of course you include pubs which are now open longer.

Hmmm. Ebdon is clawing back. Love the way all the pundits put their best dinner suits on for the final.
I really miss the days of David Vine saying "Wages time." thank god he doesn't do it anymore.
Dott slagged my mate Steve Davis off, so hope he loses.

It always used to annoy me seeing the first 3 rows on final night stuffed with stuffed shirts. Obviously the 'baccy sponsors and their better halves who've no actual interest in the snooker, they're just on a jolly. I wanted to get in early and buy tickets right in the middle front row and go wearing something really troogy just to get up their noses, although I later realised there'd be no way to ever buy those tickets.

Not as many tuxs in the front rows tonight. Must be the gambling sponsors being all new money and IT geeks.

Wow, a 74 min frame (longest is World Championship history) went to Ebdon

Now 15-12 to Dott, but Ebdon has taken the last 5 frames.

I reckon Ebdon's still on to take it

& Dott takes it 18-14.

I'm off to bed as I've got to be up in less than 6 hours...

As I predicted, Dott won after an Ebdon fight back. The best man won the best waistcoat lost.

I too had to get up for work this morning Surprised so a few yawns after a late night. Just like the old days of snooker.

Looking forward to a taste of Large.
Thumbs Up
