Anyone watching the snooker this week (& next)?

I've been an avid follower for many years & I'm thoroughly enjoying this tornament too.

Just been watchin old Steve Davis getting trounced on BBC interactive.

I have been an avid avoider for many years but I can't avoid it as I see it ever day when I go round to see my daddy. He loves all that balls and sticks thing ('cept not golf).

I've been watching bits and pieces Deep, saw the start of Steve Davis, I think he was losing 3-0, and I saw the end of the Stephen Hendry, Bond, Nigel Bond game, 9-10 respotted black thriller Thumbs Up

Another great days play.

The 2 semis are totally different

Ebdon fairly thrashing Fu (lots of tactical play too)

O'Sullivan 8-8 with Dott (loads of great shots there)

My money's on Ebdon winning this year

There is a whole new generation of players at the top now but I think Ebdon & Dott are the cream of the present bunch. Dott the Scot is the more tenacious and I think he will win through but Ebdon won't give up (like O'Sullivan did) without a good fight.

In the old days I used to stay up till the early hours watching the final frames. Nowadays it is over early enough to go down the pub afterwards for a few frames.
Shocked
