Nope, just that I'm about today, and slightly more alert.
If greater post counts were threatening I'd have to start killing you all off.

This is a perfectly serious suggestion: comments?

Sounds like a grand idea. Perhaps it would be easier to have a virtual place of worship? I understand that some Christain groups have set up virtual prayer groups and post times of worship for their members. Don't know if it's tax deductable, though! Very Happy

We can prove that pilgrimage has been made to various places in Brentford for many years, maybe that'll help?

I wonder who decides, ultimately, what a legitimate religion is? Is it the tax man? Confused

I recall one Christian virtual church talking of needing steady moderator presence as it "has had problems with blasphemers invading the site and spouting anti-christian sentiments - including one user who chose the handle "Satan"."

That's the one. It was bound to happen, wasn't it? We'd probably get Christians spouting Anti-Sprout sentiments. (Try saying that with yer teeth out)
This could be fun!

In which case are we not already a virtual religion? Should we all wear cassocks to the next Large??

Reminds me of invading the Christian fandom party at Worldcon. Apparently we really upset them.

Religious types are usually very easilly upset types as a rule and most of em hate most of all of the others most of the time. i think it is a prerequisite, or a tradition or a something.

Will this Golden order be witness to any fatwa's or whatever toward any unsuspecting other god botherers? And indeed will we be acknowledging any other gods?

Because there are so many of them out there. Gods that is.

it harks back to the Egyptian days where each settlement would have their own gods for the various things that they held any import in. like making the sun come up. Or the rain come down. Hense there being a whole load of sun and rain gods that sort of ran together as the various settlements merged. It was all a very interwoven clique if you ask me.

So which particular religion would we find ourself offiliate with and which ones would we despise?

Would the cooking and general eating of Sprouts be banned?

And what of the commandments?

And surely Elvis would be heralded as the Metatron incarnate?

There are so many questions, we can't just make a religion without some answers, can we?

Those fatwa things are a bit extreme though, dontcha think?

We should maybe start with a major leaflet campaign first.
