I would put it as scarce, but there are copies about, 1st published in 1981

More info below for comparison

Seem them go for around 10.00

Also depends on the condition of the book if it is signed or not and whether you are buying or selling.

one just went on ebay, sorry didnt see the final price but it was at about 20, unsigned.

When I bought mine there were loads in the shop.

Mind you, that was in about 1981.


Since discovering that the Pan editions are a bit rare I've had to buy a set of Corgi ones to actually read.

The price you pay for one should reflect how much you want to have it. The books themselves aren't actually worth that much. I don't think we're even talking more than s singal lonely digit after the sign. Apart from the top condition first editions of particularly hard to find titles or cover artwork.
