I've just finished a project at work that has been working me like a pit pony for the last 6 weeks, and I've just about come through 3 days of horrible icky man flu type nastiness.

So, I'm trying to keep my spirits up by thinking cheerful thoughts.

My first one - How damn cute is my son??? Grin

Third cutest baby I've ever seen...let me know if you'd care to see pictures of numbers one and two.

BTW, what makes a flu "man flu"? Please tell me it doesn't have anything to do with...oh, nevermind.

No, it doesn't. Man flu is when a bloke has a cold and pretends to be dying.

Yep, we can't bear to think that it's "just a cold", so we turn it into something more serious, hence Man-flu. Grin

"Man flu" is approx 100 times worse than any other known illness.

And Warren Ellis is the world's worst Man Flu winger. Seriously.

Just think of baby vomit, sleepless nights, green poo (what do you feed them?!), screaming three year olds, grumpy teenagers....

Well the green poo is only right at the very start - something to do with flushing out the gunk that's in their bowel whilst in the womb.

Sleepless nights - not really any more. Tom goes to bed around 8-ish and sleeps through until about 5:30. Not exactly perfect, but it's more manageable than getting up every 2 hours when he was a newborn.

Baby vomit. Ah, well yes. There is that. It's not so much vomit though, it's just excess milk that hitches a ride on a burp....

Our neighbours have a 2 year old who could write the guidebook on "terrible twos" - he's pure evil! (But cute too)
