I'm not sure if I'm right, and somebody can check this as I can't find the last issue, but I've been reading the latest thinking I've got de-ja-vu. Some of the articles look incredibly similar to last issues. Just a wondering if I'm Uri Gellar or the Editors had a relapse.

Uri Gellar is a finely tuned individual. I believe he is the next Messiah....in his own world....wherever that is.

Do you mean the time travel thing with the throries & some film/book examples?

In which case it's definatly not been published before 'cause my dad submitted that one & he's certainly never written for the Merc before.

Though I'm sure he'd be interested if you could point out what old article it reminded you of......

No need to get stroppy. I merely said it seemed a familiar item, like it had been printed twice, recently, i.e. the last issue. If I'm wrong, so be it. I'm certainly not announcing plaigurism however it may be spelt, It just looked a duplicate item that was all. Found it quite enlightening actually and enjoyed reading it very much, so if your Dad is interested, I liked it, hopw he submits moe, and I'm quite sure he's capable of defending himself should the need ever arise.

I don't think he was being stroppy or defensive - behave please!

Their was a time travel thing done a little while ago by Emma King after Brentcon, it may be that you're confusing it with that.

So, if we took flux, and stored it in some kind of capacitor...

Look, I'd had a lovely meal and all I said to my wife was, 'That piece of Halibut was good enough for Jehovah.'

Stacey, were you being 'a moderator' on me?

From the author of the Merc's recent time travel article. The script was original so if there was any copying or plagerism going on it must have been something I overheard subliminally during one of my sojourns back to the past to research time travel. Glad you all enjoyed the article though.

If you're researching time travel, then you've arrived a bit late, this issue was resolved two days ago.

GOD

p.s.
I still firmly believe that you can only travel safely twelve months into the future and possibly the past as its quite possibly the simplest and minimal journey to make from a static position. To increase the length of time travelled, then twelve monthly increments are necessary. That would minimise the risk of being off your original target by lowering the risk of gravitational fluctuations in the earths orbit when arriving. You could be out of position by mere inches on a twelve month leap than possibly feet yards or miles by moving further in time beyond a year or two. Just a thought.
The maths involved in achieving this sort of phenomenon won't be that difficult to sort out, eventually. I only say that because my future self arrived last year, some ten years into the future he came from. Said he'd got the theory right, but paradoxically, he needed me to start the ball rolling now. However, he forgot the plans, and now sits in the shed at the bottom of my garden running over the theories with himself again and again. He'll crack it of course, in nine years time, he's proved that already. Although he hasn't noticed. There are now two of me at home, which seems to please the wife. Dunno why she's always smiling though.
