hi
I am Psychonauts 'other half'. He was admitted into critical care on Sunday after complaining of stomach pains.
They think there is a problem with his liver, possible biopsy tomorrow. But otherwise he seems to be stable at the moment.
He needs reading material as he has nearly gone thru all the Kathy Reichs I took him up there.. And he has consumed all of Roberts books to the best of my knowledge that we have on the bookcase.
What is the latest one...so I can check if he has it or not?
Thank you

Hi Sifreynir
Sorry to hear about Drew, please wish him well.
The most recent 5 Rankin books were:
Necrophenia (2008)
The Da-da-de-da-da Code (2007)
The Toyminator (2006)
The Brightonomicon (2005)
Knees Up Mother Earth (2004)
Retromancer is due out later this year.
Real bummer to be in hospital, but - look on the bright side - at least it gives pleanty of time for reading. _________________ Just Have Fun |

Sorry to hear that, please pass on that we're all wishing him a speedy recovery. If you do find that you're missing any RR books, please let us know, I'm sure we can rustle up a Red Cross parcel type thing between us... _________________

Aye get well Psychonaut. And quickly too. Hopefully it will be nothing serious and you'll be back amongst the rest of us soon.
All the best

Thanks all
Fourpints - I printed your blog off this morning and forgot to take it into him Will try again tomorrow.
He had his biopsy this morning. They are leaving it to 'grow' over the weekend. Not sure what they hope to create from it...who knows
It looks like I have managed to buy him all the latest books so I shall have to search for some other bookworm material to keep him entertained. Any suggestions warmly welcomed.
I am not a book person...I usually wait for the DVD's to come out |

| Halting State by Charles Stross is well worth a look. Damned funny and very clever. I am sure he'd enjoy it. |
