As some of you may already know from previous posts, developers in collusion with the corrupt Stoke-on-Trent council are trying to knock down a perfectly good, top quality alehouse, to replace it with a multi-storey car park.

Since last mentioning this on the forum, the council have now given outline planning permission to the new shopping maul and to the destruction of this "alter to ale" and this multi award winning pub.

Having already collected 11,000 signatures on one petition we are now trying to collect more, this time on the 10 Downing Street website, in a effort to get the home secretary to call in the plans and hopefully save the pub.

Below you will find links both to the petition and to the pubs website, so you can see for yourself what these philistines are trying to destroy.

Cheers folks, any and all help will be appreciated to save this little gem of a pub and any and all are welcome join me for ale if you ever find yourself in the area.....

Cheers, H.......
