> Valentine's day, a day on which Mr. Al Capone ruined a romantic night out for many diners by massacring them. Died of syphilis, he did, so there is some justice

Six of the seven were gangsters though as I recall. The shooting last year in Illinois had greater casualties, and as for Strasbourg...

It's also the date we nationalised the Bank of England, James Cook was killed by natives and P.G. Wodehouse died, to pick on a few others.

Nice job! Thumbs Up

I got a copy of Assassins Creed in a sale recently but not played it yet. I played COD: World at War extremely intensively for about 3 weeks after Xmas until I finished it, so the Xbox and I are spending some time apart. But when we get back together, Assassins Creed will be getting a good hammering....

Well the plot is a little fishy, but I don't want to carp on about it...

Resistence 2 on the PS3 is taking up all my gaming time at the moment. I will return to Black on the PS2 once i've comletely wiped those chimera SOB's from the face of teh planet. Very Happy Then on to Little Big Planet with the Dulcid tones of Stephen Fry.

I had the best Valentines weekend, I got drunk with Al Ewing, I got stuck in a lift with Alan Grant, I finally met the legend that is Michael Carroll, I met the lovely, lovely guy who writes The Mike Neville Casefiles - my fav small press comic and he did me a hilarious sketch. My lovely boyfriend, fetched me coffee all day and held my shopping and carried my coat and took me out for a lovely meal before ensuing comic jam madness.

Oh and we met Geno Washington the soul singer in the bar! He thought a comics con was for comedians and sat and gave a talk about breaking into comedy - it was legend, he was awesome. What a weekend, you can't make the shit up.

Got home and immediately had to take Tala to the hospital with breathing difficulties and she was admitted overnight and now we are knackered and have no milk, which is a bummer of a way to end an awesome weekend.

Damn - knew I forgot something! She's ok thanks, yesterday was very scary, she ended up having to have three lots of nebulisers and some steriods, but this morning she was trying to get the consultant to dance with her so the difference is unbelievable!

Glad she's ok now Stace, babies like nothing better than trying to bring you down to earth with a bump when you've had the audacity to have fun without them Laughing

Sounded like a brilliant weekend before that.
