I can't actually see any reference to this on any BSFA website. Are you sure you didn't dream it?
Actually it came at exactly the right time as I went up to my publisher today to show them what I had done of my raygun for the new cover and plead with them to let me keep doing my own covers.
And they said yes.
So I am very happy.
But I still can't find any reference...

You sure about this Billy Bob?
The only (unofficial) reference I can find has no mention of Necrophenia Confused

[Edit]
This looks like the official one and still no mention.

Bob, if only you had some sort of evidence to show us it has been nominated, otherwise I accuse you of being a daydreamer and Hugh is in on it:roll:

What I want to know is, why have the BSFA site ahs got two articles: one with about twenty nominees and the other stating categorically that there are only five, not including Necrophenia? Confused

[edit] and the shortlist page only says "being prepared" ?

Anyway, it impressed my publishers, who are going to allow me to continue doing the covers for the hardbacks, although God knows what they have planned for the paperbacks.
Also the BSFA and the BFA care not for my good self, I have unwittingly insulted and offended their officialdom whilst in my cups upon several occasions, and so will never be receiving any awards.
One guy from the BFA had kept a sarcastic letter that I had sent him (asking who I had to shag to get an award), in his wallet for ten years so he could take issue with me over it when he met me in person. I said "well you won't be needing it any more then, will you?" and tore it up.
And I would have liked one of their awards because my mate Dave Carson made them.
So, where's my knighthood then?
Who in the royal household do I have to shag to get one??? Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Nice one Robert. Make those pencil-pushers* swivel on your mid-digit.

*not to be confused with biro-pushers

Course I know what an rss feed is, I'm a nurse, it's what happens if you have an obstruction in your mouth, it's the the only way to get nutrients in.

And Dr Bob, I was being sarcastic and said what I said because of the evidence you had, although now if you knew that I knew what you were saying, I'm going to look a bit silly now Laughing [/quote]
