Hello there all, I am now back from the book tour and absolutely knackered.
May I take this opportunity to thank all of you who turned up at Brentford to celebrate the launch of my thirtieth book, inaugurate the Flying Swan and Fangio's Bar and dress foolishly and be generally amazing and all who can along to the signings. I got to meet Tosh and Gaz and Minxie Moos and the lady in the straw hat and many more, thank you all oh so much for helping to make it a wonderful and memorable week.
Although I could have done without quite so many well-loved famous folk all popping their clogs. Partick MacGoohan, John Mortimer, Tony Hart? Good grief
But it was Captain Beefheart's birthday and he is still with us.
Thanks again and looking forward to a huge birthday bash in July.

Just imagine the damage you'd have done with a longer tour, nobody born in the 20s would have survived.

Don't forget Ricardo Montalban died on the 14th too.

I attended Brentford and the FP London signing (with free biscuits!) and all was good with the world.

And you wanted to do 30 Smile

Anyway, it was jolly nice to meet you too, maybe next time I'll have more time for toot and not have to rush for a bus.

I could have done the thirty. It is the big "comedown" when you've finished that does for you.
Oh, and for anyone I mentioned it to, I won't be being interviewed by David Frost this week, something to do with there being a lot of news about Gaza (i thought he was in rehab~)

Actually that's in rather poor taste, strike it from the record.

Has anyone tried correlating the dates and places of all these deaths with Robert's itinerary? Wink

Don't even think about it, Tim. It used to happen every time I went off on a book tour, a whole bunch of famous folk would croak.
It's a pity I can't choose which ones.
How are Mr Brand and Mr Ross, by the way?

I looked up when his show airs and posted it on here and everything, though admittedly didn't mention why in case it wasn't confirmed.

Have they rescheduled it?

And now Mahmut Aygun the creator of the Donar Kebab has shuttled off this mortal coil Crying or Very sad Drunk (There really should be a puke smiley for such occassions)

Just hope he doesn't end up on a scewer in my local. I draw the line just after horse meat as long as there is extra chilli sauce.
