you're getting that mixed up with, 'Mine's an apple pie with custard', the third track on side 2.

Who can forget such memorable lyricism as.....

Is lookin fairly certain I'll be there
for tea
an apple pie with custard for me
for me, for me, i say
Mine's an apple pie with custard....

they don't write em like that any more

Very Happy

There seems to be a few of you going to this thing. If your turning up early you might want to vist Borough market which has been around in one form or another since way before the Romans landed in this fair isle.

It has a gourmet food market on a saturday and is well worth a visit and is open from 9am - 4pm on saturdays so might be a nice place to go for breakfast. Myself and Kelly are going to take a little time to wander around.

See you all saturday

I think I've left it far too late to book a cheap flight. I was browsing for some a couple of days ago, and they weren't too bad, but I didn't get around to booking. Now the cheap fairs seem to be gone. Sometimes, though, they release extra cheap seats late, so I'll keep looking.

I could always try the more drastic route of ferry and train, but that can be a bit of a pain.

If anyone can find me a cheap flight from Dublin, give me a shout!

Enjoyable.
Just wish the some of the talkingheads would have spoken up a bit or that James had had the chance to set up some microphones, then again James was able to communictae on the subject of Irish comics and the portrayal of the Irish in comics quite clearly and most entertainingly without resorting to such electronical gadgetry.
I did ask them to speak up a bit, but I'm not a man of influence.

It was really fun Andi. Me and Pete missed Lee and Grahams talk which was a bit of a nightmare. The airship debate was really fun, but the panel on Alternative Londons went right past me as I couldnt hear a word. There were a couple of not very well behaved children running wild during that talk as well which didn't help. James panel was very funny. Then we kicked the zz9ers bottoms in Family Fortunes.

The last panel we sneakily managed to get front row seats for and was really good, it was something like Influences on the Doctor as a character. It was really interesting and they coped with Pete asking them tons of questions about James Bond really well! Very Happy

It was lovely to see so many familiar faces, the pub was really nice and it was just a lovely laid back day.

Got copies of Lees Guide to Brentford too which he signed for us - though I do plan to flog mine on ebay the very minute he gets properly published. Very Happy

i was reet nervous about talkin to loads of folk about things, but it seemed to go ok. As it turned out it was the first panel thing of the day so no one was drunk, not even me. And Stacey not being there didn't help one little bit!!!! Devil

In Love In Love In Love

But these things aren't really about all the talking and the listening and the beating zz9 at familly fortunes (although that last one definately helped make it a brilliant day Thumbs Up ). Thems're about meeting up with everyone and having a laugh. Which we did. And having lots of beer. And we did some of that too.

And i managed to blag myself a bottle of Large and some badges in the auction, which was cool too. No one else knew that the auction was on though so there was only me there, bidding against myself, so i got a bargain. i think.
