Sean Connery!

I'd love that one!

I don't mind being corrected, especially when I'm mixed up and confused and Peter Jones did die! Not that that is a cause for celebration or Embarassed

Peter Sallis (the voice of Wallace from Wallace & Gromit), on the other hand, isn't dead.

Apparently all SatNav systems in Germany have male voices, coz German blokes won't take directions from a woman. Silly sausage sucking krauts! Smile

I'd like it if SATNAV systems insulted bad drivers.
That would make people drive better I think. Although it could push nervous drivers over the edge.

Plus that German thing about not taking orders from women - hahaha one last attempt to keep their masculinity. Silly persons.

Mick said his English tour manager has a SATNAV that sounds like Anne Robinson, which I would find rather disturbing.

Why would anyone want that poisonous witch's voice shrieking at them throughout their entire journey?
I hate Ann Robinson so much that I absolutely refuse to leave the Weakest Link on for any amount of time.
I think it is totally unethical to allow someone to make their fortune by being horrible to people. How can anyone with a sense of decency allow it???

Richard Burton in the same voice as on Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds.

That would scare me too much.
I associate his voice with a feeling of dread now.

I actually think that that tape made me the most scared I have ever been in my life.

I listened to it when I was about 4 or 5 and the sound of the martians unscrewing the lid was too tense and sinister for words. Still scares me now.

I would love Richard Burton's voice, but I suspect being dead counts him out. Mick said the Anne Robinson voice was creepy. I imagine it saying, "Now turn left and drive off the cliff. Good bye."

I'd have James Spader, especially the way he talks as Alan Shore.

What about James Earl Jones?

That would be awesome, particularly if your radiator was on the blink, then it would be like having Darth Vader as your navigator.

[reality moment] If you're radiator was on the blink the sound of your navigator would be the least of your worries!! Shocked [/reality moment]
