Breaking news boys and girls - the book launch weekend event is on Very Happy
This will take place over the weekend of the 9th, 10th and 11th of January with the Saturday being the central day and including the Waterstones at Chiswick book signing at lunch time and a party in the evening.
This should be a special weekend with key events programed for all three days so keep it free if you can Wink
A full announcement with all details will be mailed out soon and should shortly after that hit the "latest News" section on this site.....

Ian.

Friday I might end up being a late arrival, but will probably be there all three days (potentially fleeing early Sunday though) - is the rest of the main event nearer the Waterstones, or the Brentford area? Just so I know for booking a convenient spot to stay.

Brentford I believe.

Where was that hotel you stayed in for the Wedding event Geoff?

With the exception of the book signing all of the weekends events will be in Brentford.
I will, when fully announcing the event and posting the tickets up for sale (yes, sorry! - there is a small cost involved and tickets will be sold to meet this) also provide details for travel and accommodation...

This one will be well worth a visit, there are going to be several BIG and MEMORABLE things occuring, plus I'd really love to celebrate the publishing of my 30th book with a big exclusive Sproutlore Launch Party to raise a glass to all of you and thank you so much for all your support and friendship over the years.

The King's Arms? It's pretty much right next to Brentford station.

I should hopefully be able to make this - planning to travel down on the Friday and back on Sunday so I only have to take 1 day off work.

Looking forward to being back in Brentford!

Its been stickied, don't know who did it but thanks Thumbs Up

The full details of the weekend and details on getting your mitts on tickets have been passed on to the web guru and should hit the Headlines section very soon Very Happy

Just to echo what Robert has already said - There will be a number of SPECIAL events taking place over this weekend in addition to the book signing, the launch party and disco, the grand prize draw etc, etc....
Miss it at your peril.

For those of you into dressing up the Saturday is a themed fancy dress, not compulsory but there will be prizes for best male and female costume. The theme? I hear you ask - "What I really wanted to be when I grew up", which I suppose for many of us here (and that includes me) really should read "What I want to be when I finally do grow up" Wink

Ian.

And I should add that coming as yourself and claiming you always wanted to be what you are will not count Laughing

Wasn't that Lisa's idea as mentioned at a previous Large event?
