It's that time of year again where we get to see how far up the 'rankings' we can get Rankin (pun?) in the SFX Awards.

http://www.sfx.co.uk/vote

Annoyingly you will have to fill out all the boxes...but when you get to best novel, choose the OTHER option and then put:

ROBERT RANKIN - THE DA DA DE DA DA CODE

It would also be nice to put young Robert's name into the SFX Lifetime Achievement box as well, don't you think?

Let's see what we can manage through the power of fandom...spread the word people.

Done - but a bit worried that The Da Da De Da Da Code was last year, so will they accept it for the 2008 awards?

Put Rob in for the Lifetime Achievement award too though. Thumbs Up

true...but it could be the paperback edition...and most awards are for things within the past 12-18 months anyway. This is why we need 2 books a year from Rob, it would make rigging awards so much easier Very Happy

Pretty certain I voted for TDDDDDC last year though....

We could always vote for Necrophenia and try to win an award for a yet-to-be-released book.... Thumbs Up

Actually, I put Paul Cornell down because I would love to see the look on his face if he even gets in the top 10!

Also done. Times two as I had my little sister round last night and she's voted for Robert as well.

I voted for I, Zombie by Al Ewing - as I didn't think TDDDDDC would be eligible. My bad if it is - ooooooooh the guilt, I don't think I can take it.
