hi guys.
I just opened my copy this morning, and I was surprised to read that you hadn't had many contributions. I then read further and discovered you were right. Roberts meanderings are a hoot.
I would like to say, in fairness to us readers, you didn't mention you were short of contributions....if you had I'd have thrown allsorts at you. Pity. Ah well, if you get stuck next time, let me know.

Cheers

GOD

Please do feel free to throw anything and everything - I think James would just love to have a pool of contributions to pick and choose from for each issue!

Was thinking of submitting an article about working in the Railway industry. But frankly I think i will give it a miss for several reasons.

1. No bugger would believe a word of it.

2. A lot of it could be possibly libelous. Even if it IS true which it is.

4. what the hell happened to 3?

5. Although I think its funny I dont think anyone else would get it.

Got mine through today.

My contribution was only a Review of The Toyminator & of the release day for said book.

I expect they'll crop up some where along the way.

Great letter from Robert in the Merc.

James is always after stuff for the Mercs, so I'd encourage all of you to put articles & stuff forward for consideration...

I'm not sure I'd ever dare. I'm rather shy, as you all well know.

I don't think there has ever been an issue where I haven't asked for contributions God.

The previous two issue both had requests in the welcome.

I should point out some tips.

WE don't really take psuedo rankin writings, as it doesn't work.

We love ALL articles no matter what the subject, and have had a variety anyhow.

Artwork, reviews, articles on odd things and anything else is always welcome and given fair consideration.

J

Hmmm, am I reading something into this or what? Pseudo Rankin writings, never written one of those before except on here. Then it was a case of changing one character to Rune...which was fun, but not necessary. The rest aren't 'Pseudo Rankin', unless comedic writing of a certain science fiction/fantasy style is now old hat , straw hat at that and time travel is never to be aired in public again. Perhaps a new approach is needed, i shall set to with my Mac and see anything occurs. Very Happy

GOD

P.S

Got this idea about a bloke who witnesses a Martian invasion, and then goes on the run...but after a while, and with all the military hardware used up to fight them, the Martians eventually fall victim to Earths bacteria.! Make a movie, worth trying to flog to Dreamworks, make a fortune. And the Martians, just to be different will travel in three legged pods, eating us. Whaddya think?

I think what James is saying here is that he's not after submitions of Fiction writing.

He's after: artwork, reviews, articles on odd things etc...

Wonder if he'd accept my review on 'Snow - It's Quantum Dynamics Imposed Upon an M-String Universe'? Mainly about this weeks weather.

Or

'Just How White Is Snow?' A theoretical question.

GOD mate, I think you could probably get something in every issue under the "articles on odd things" banner!

Go for it....
