As we sit blindly typing away our thoughts and muses with Robert in mind, I wonder, does the Mage himself actually have a Sproutlore membership of his own, and do we often have him logged on and commenting whilst we are blissfully unaware? Just a wonderin.

Be cool if he did, does and has.

As our robert is a bit of a technophobe I woould say that its pretty safe to say that he does not have a membership of this forum. However I have it on god authority that his wife does have a membership and does has a sneaky peek every now and again at what is happening.

God authority eh? Don't remember givin permission to have you know that... Very Happy
His wife eh? Helloooo Mrs Rankin... pop by, say helloo. Don't be scared. You can always change your log in ID afterward.

And I'm happy to take any questions on any other subject other than Robert, just to make you feel comfortable.

That's an easy one really - get a spinning wheel and make thread from it and then re-weave this thread into new clothes Laughing

Actually the spinning of thread is the most useful thing for tumble fluff. However I would advise caution upon letting pre-pubescent or precocious fifteen year old girls from handling the spinning wheel. A prevalence toward lengthy naps and pricked fingers tends to be the thing, naps sometimes reaching beyond forty winks to a hundred years, so be warned.

Thanks for the most interesting if somewhat impractical replies. As a modern woman I have no use for a spinning wheel.

Can we think of something more 21st century?

Knit your own rampant rabbit for example - very Sex and the City

Now that is a good idea - I'll bung it on the compost heap and they can take their chances
