The Candyman. Yeah. Broke my heart that did. Just awful/.

But then they did do some good episodes in his last season - The Curse of Fenric, Remembrance of the Daleks and Ghost light. Unfortunately by then the damage was done.

And another thing. Let's lightly gloss over the possibility of the new assistant being Lilly Allen, eh? Crying or Very sad

Well, think back to what they said about Billie Piper before actually seeing her. Seems like a terrible idea I agree, but you never know. I try not to pass too much judgement on something until I've seen it.

Agreed - I remember people slagging David Tennant before he had even recorded a scene. Let's wait and see, shall we?

Absolutely - some of the stuff in the last series was a real return to form, because they had stories that fitted well with McCoy's character of a more thoughtful Doctor, scheming and plotting rather than running and shouting. Also loved the suggestion that the Doctor had been or will be Merlin at some point in his lifetimes.

Yeah, I remember being rather unconvinced about DT at the time, I thought he was too young. After the Children in Need teaser that he did I was sold, and after the Christmas special I was bouncing.

Once of the best lines was in the curse of Fenric - "Even I cannot play this many games at once" - I loved the idea that there was so much more going on in the Doctor's mind than he let us into.

So, having not seen that many McCoy ones, it sounds like I've seen most of the "best" ones then.
