If you search for valve in Vintage Electronics on eBay, there's lots of interesting bits & bobs there. A few nice looking valves are on Buy It Now at under 3.

I bought the Goliathon for my lovely wife, Raygun... Aren't they incredible, I am building one for the cover of the new book. Finding the getting hold of old radio valves a problem though.
